Sergio Leone


Sergio Leone was an Italian film director, producer and screenwriter, credited as the inventor of the “Spaghetti Western” genre.His most famous movies include the dollar trilogy, Once Upon a Time in the West and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.Leone had a particular style of editing which is being used by many directors even today.Leone’s film-making style includes juxtaposing extreme close-up shots with lengthy long shots.He is considered as the best director of the European western genre.
