Alfred Hitchcock

 

 

Alfred Hitchcock was an English film director and producer. He pioneered many elements of the suspense and psychological thriller genres. He was considered to be the master of suspense. His career spanned for more than 50 years. He directed some masterpieces like Psycho, Strangers on a Train, Vertigo and many more.  He had a successful career in British cinema with both silent films and early talkies and became renowned as England’s best director.

1) Vertigo (1958)

Detective Scottie who suffers from acrophobia is hired to investigate the strange activities of an old friend’s wife. She commits suicide while Scottie becomes dangerously obsessed with her.
